The BlockAdemiC project includes six work packages. Deliverable D3.2 belongs to work package 3 (WP3) and concerns "Designing smart contracts". The tasks for deliverable D3.2 follow deliverables D1.2 "Technical and functional specifications and system architecture" and D2.2 "Functionality study of the gamification application of learning analytics".
The aim of the deliverable is the technological description of the smart contracts, on the chosen blockchain platform, that were used, as well as the communication method, the flow of information exchanged between the various parts of the system and their format. Also, applications of smart contracts in various fields are mentioned schematically, and the operation and issue of badges are described in detail, based on the achievement of the learning objectives in each lesson. Finally, in the annex of the deliverable, technical details with examples for downloading the data to the smart contracts and the ways to retrieve them from them are listed.
