This deliverable is included in Work Package 2 (WP2: Design and development of framework and mechanisms of learning analysis) with a duration of M8-M20 in which AUTH participates.
The aim of deliverable D2.1 is to describe the learning activities that will be recorded and the learning analysis (more specific variables in them).
Initially, the categories of learning activities "Learning Activities" and the term "Learning Analytics" are described, in order to set the targeting and context of the deliverable, regarding the information that must be recorded and analyzed regarding the preparation and successful completion of learning activities. The learning activities that lead to the acquisition of knowledge and skills are recorded in order to recognize the learning outcomes and create the relevant tokens. It then reviews the standards and specifications for interoperability of learning tools, learning activities and learning analytics Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI), Caliper Analytics and xAPI. Next, a brief overview of learning management systems (Learning Management Systems – LMS) and the degree of support of the above standards is given. The deliverable concludes with the definition of the learning analytics model for BlockAdemiC and the list of suggested elements to be captured.
